A Boutique in the Heart of the City

Our boutique is located at Piazza della Cisterna 17 in the ancient Tuscan town of San Gimignano—a distinctive spot not only at the city’s heart but also at the foot of the famous “Devil’s Tower.” Legend has it that when the tower’s owner returned from a long journey, he found it had “grown taller,” yet no one could explain how. Thus, the mysterious growth was blamed on the devil. Another tale suggests the narrow gaps on the tower made it appear “eerie” compared to other towers in the city, leading people to believe it was built by the devil himself. However, according to historians, the most plausible explanation is that the tower was constructed to conceal the secrets of enlightenment rituals. After all, symbols of the Knights Templar can be found almost everywhere in San Gimignano, making this the most credible theory. Regardless, the tower’s fame even inspired a famous video game in which players must climb the Devil’s Tower to complete their mission.
